Code of conduct
1. Neutrality
Evidtrail serves every registered party on the same terms. We take no side, endorse no party or candidate, and criticise none. Parties appear in our product only as data.
2. What we never do
- Message, target or profile voters
- Move money to voters
- Connect to INEC's internal systems
- Create deepfakes, or change or “clean up” any figure
3. Evidence
We record what a campaign's lawful agents see. Mismatches are flagged, never fixed. We never present unverified data as verified, and we decline any request to change, "clean up" or withhold evidence.
4. Data
Each client's data stays in its own workspace. We never serve two rival candidates in the same race without both agreeing in writing.
5. Partner rules
Every partner agency, at every tier, keeps these rules. Breaches end the partnership and any unpaid commission on the affected client.
- Agent operations and evidence only. No voter messaging, targeting or payments to voters.
- No deepfakes, disinformation or unlabelled AI content sold under our name.
- Client data stays in the client's workspace. No copying across tools or clients.
- We serve all registered parties. You may work for one side, but may not ask us to refuse a rival.
- Comply with the Electoral Act 2026, the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 and NCC rules.
